AMD Officially Launches Radeon RX 5600 XT: A New Challenger Arrives!
January 21, 2020AMD continues its RX 5000 series launch with the Radeon RX 5600 XT this year. It will join the Radeon RX5500 XT graphics cards in the 1080p segment to battle the crowd favorite Nvidia offerings.
Tho, according to AMD’s internal testings, the Radeon RX 5600 XT offers an up to 20% more performance against Nvidia’s 1080p king, the GTX 1660Ti; and a staggering 55% performance increase against the 3-year old GTX 1060.
While it was only able to squeeze an up to 15% performance increase against a younger Nvidia graphics card such as the GTX 1660 Super OC.

However, being under the RDNA architecture and through the Radeon Adrenalin 2020 Edition, the Radeon RX 5600 XT is utterly efficient compared to its predecessors and will have features such as Radeon Boost, Radeon Anti-Lag, and Radeon Image Sharpening, which will boost its gaming performance and enhance graphics to let users experience a more visually stunning and immersive gameplays.
Just like when the Radeon RX 5500 XT was launched, the new Radeon RX 5600 XT will not have a reference model and will be exclusively available through AMD brand partners. As such, cooling performance and frequencies depend on AIB partners’ specifications.
