AMD, one of the leading CPU manufacturers in the world, has been relentless with its efforts to enrich and uplift the gaming scene, specifically esports, in the Philippines as of late.
The relentless efforts resulted to the birth of AMD Philippines’ esports arm – AMDEsports.  It solely focuses on promoting and conducting esports tournaments all over the country. Among its long line of esports titles is one fighting game, Tekken 7, which is not only popular in the console realm, but also has a growing fanbase from the PC gaming scene.
And just recently, AMDEsports partnered with MSI, one of the top PC components manufacturers in the world, to hold a Tekken 7 Tournament, dubbed as AMD Fight, at Teatrino in Greenhills – where professional Tekken players and Tekken aficionados flocked to test their skills and be crowned as AMDEsports’ Tekken 7 champion.
Andrei “Doujin” Albar –the champion of ‘Road to The Nationals’– had once again proved that he was and still is the player to beat when it comes to Tekken 7, as he claimed the title of champion once more at the conclusion of the AMD Fight: Tekken 7 Tournament.
With their new esports arm, AMD Philippines sees to hold more esports tournaments and give birth to more champions. To know more about AMD’s esports activities, follow their official Facebook page: AMD Philippines.
