ESGS 2018: AOC Showcases its Monitors that feature AMD FreeSync Technology
October 30, 2018At ESGS 2018, the biggest eSports and gaming convention in the Philippines, AOC, one of the biggest monitor brands in the country, held an event where they introduced their new gaming monitors that will be available in the Philippines.
Displayed at the event were the C24B1H, a curved monitor with ultra-narrow boarders, and the 22B1HS, an ultra-slim monitor with ultra-narrow boarders.

The C24B1H that features a 23.6” panel that has a native resolution of 1920×1080 with 60Hz refresh rate carries a Php9,312 price tag, while the 22B1HS that features a 21.5” panel that also has a native resolution of 1920×1080 with 60Hz refresh rate will carry a Php5,558 price tag.
Alongside the B1 series monitors that were on display, the C24G1 and G2590PX, which both features 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response, and AMD FreeSync Technology, also took centerstage.

The C24G1 that is equipped with a 23.6 curved display that features a native resolution of 1920×1080 with 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time carries a Php16,596 price tag, while the G2590PX with its 24.5” panel that features a native resolution of 1920×1080 with 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time will carry a Php16,236 price tag.
Jack Salamia, Marketing Head of MMD Philippines, said that their most popular monitor based on units released is the 24” flat monitor. The volume of their monitors including the 24” have helped AOC nab the top spot on the International Data Corporation’s (IDC) report for Q4 2017 which hailed AOC as the leading monitor brand in the Philippines.
He also introduced AOC’s newest influencers who will help strengthen the brand’s presence in the country.
AOC reiterates that they will continue their pursuit for innovations that will be of benefit to consumers. And with the help of their new influencers and gaming monitors, AOC sees to tap new grounds to further strengthen and spread their presence in the country.
