One of the most awaited, and now highly acclaimed, horror games of the 90’s has recently been released with a remake,  the Resident Evil 2 Remake.

The Resident Evil 2 Remake comes with a slightly different starting line from the original RE 2. Tho, it still follows the story of rookie cop, Leon S. Kennedy, and Claire Redfield who are set to battle hoards of zombies and other monsters that were born from the virus.

And with the new character detail and rich environment details, the Resident Evil 2 Remake will require a highly capable GPU for PC users to enjoy and relive Raccoon City in the most horrific way possible.

With that said, AMD has recently released a new driver that enhances and boosts AMD Radeon GPU performance on RE 2 Remake, the Radeon 19.1.2 driver. It gives Radeon GPUs smoother performance and frame rates at 1080p, 1440p, and even 4K.

The new driver comes with FreeSync 2 HDR that works flawlessly with leading FreeSync monitors from leading monitor manufacturers such as ASUS, BenQ, AOC, Samsung, and more. It also features Asynchronous Compute that lessens input latency, and improves GPU utilization and efficiency.

AMD also has an ongoing promotion. They are currently giving out game coupons for free to end-users who purchase AMD Radeon VII (starting February 7) RX Vega or RX 590. Moreover, eligible Radeon VII, RX Vega or RX 590-powered PC will also get free game coupons.

The game coupon will bag end-users three of the most highly awaited games of 2019 – Resident Evil 2 Remake, Division 2, and Devil May Cry 5. The promotion runs through February 9 and games can be redeemed until April 6.
