ASUS Unleashes a Slew of Bigger and Faster Monitors
March 15, 2019With the recent breakthroughs in GPU technology, it is just fitting that monitors should follow suit and keep up with the performance of the new generation. That in mind, ASUS developed their latest monitors to keep up with the demanding requirements of this generation’s gamers and enthusiasts, while keeping in tune with the huge display estate and precise color accuracy demands of professionals.
ASUS held an exclusive media event at their office to showcase their new monitors that are up for the challenge of the new generation. Answering the call for new features to be integrated into monitors, the new ASUS monitors feature FreeSync 2, HDR, IPS displays, 0.5ms response time, and PBP technology.
With their 165Hz refresh rate and industry-leading 0.5ms, the VG258QR and VG258QR are ASUS’ offerings to gamers who require fast response time and fluid frame turns. The VG279Q, on the other hand, is ASUS’ offering to those professionals who are also gamers at heart, it features an IPS display with 144Hz refresh rate.
For those who require large display estate, precise color accuracy, and fast refresh rate, ASUS has the ROG Strix XG32VQR. It features DisplayHDR™ 400, 144Hz refresh rate, 125% sRGB, and AMD’s FreeSync 2 HDR technology. Its combination of features deliver rich colors, wide blacks and white tones, and tear-free screen.
The rocketing rise of eSports casting, and streaming calls for a monitor that not only has the features mentioned above, but also the ability to multi-task. For that kind of requirement, ASUS proudly presents the ROG Strix XG49VQ, which features a super ultra-wide display with a resolution of 3840×1080 that’s able to display 3 different outputs simultaneously. And with its 90% DCI-P3, 125% sRGB, and DisplayHDR™ 400, this behemoth monitor would also be a content creator’s dream monitor.
