Linksys Releases MR8300 Tri-Band Mesh Router Set to Boost Mobile Gaming and Home Entertainment

Linksys, one of the leading network equipment manufacturers, has recently released its new Tri-band Mesh Gaming router, the MR8300, in the Philippines.
Aimed to address the growing need for massive bandwidth for 4K content consumption and intense mobile gaming. The MR8300 with its quad-core processor, which runs up to 716MHz, can easily boost the overall network performance and take it to new heights. With its (5) Gigabit Ethernet Ports and four fixed external antennas with high-power amplifiers, the Linksys MR8300 ensure steady high-performance connection in both wired and wireless interfaces.
Linksys MR8300 is able to provide stable high-performance wireless connections through its 5GHz radio that can transmit over 800Mbps and 2.4GHz radio that can push over 400Mbps. Along with these specifications, to further improve stable connections, the MR8300 implements MU-MIMO and Beamforming technology.
And to widen the WiFi coverage of the MR8300, Linksys suggests to partner a Velop node to the MR8300. The combination will not only widen the coverage of the MR8300’s WiFi network but will also feature automated optimization of bands and channels. And since the MR8300 is built with Linksys Intelligent Mesh Technology, once it’s on a Mesh network, it will automatically self-heal a node that loses power – automatically triggering the remaining nodes to re-establish the connection to each other and to the internet, providing an almost zero downtime Mesh network.
The Linksys MR8300 combined with Velop nodes usher in seamless connectivity with high-throughput and wider area coverage.
