Poly Launches Next Generation Savi Wireless Headsets

Plantronics Inc. (“Poly” – formerly Plantronics and Polycom) has announced the next-generation iterations of its popular Savi wireless headsets, the enterprise-grade Savi 8220 and Savi 8210.

Both of the new Savi wireless headsets feature Active Noise Cancelling that is beneficial to those who are working in a noisy and disruptive office environment. The duo also features a close conversation limiting technology which singles out the voice of the user and cancels out background noises such as another person talking loudly. The Poly Savi 8200 series is the first DECT headsets to integrate Active Noise Cancelling technology.

And with its impressive 180 feet wireless range that can extend up to 590 feet (in an unblocked office environment,) the Savi 8200 family offers the most extensive mobility in its segment. It’s the best office or work headset for those who love to multi-task while taking calls or those who tend to focus more when they have the freedom to roam around the office. Additionally, the duo supports multi-device connectivity and is equipped with an easy to use call merging function for desk phones, mobile devices, and PCs.

As seen in the pictures above, the Savi family comes in two wearing styles. The Savi 8220 presents the usual stereo on-ear style, while the Savi 8110 comes in a monaural style. And these new headsets are not like the average enterprise-grade wireless headsets available in the market, as the Savi 8200 family has security certifications from the international association of wireless home and enterprise communication industry, the DECT Forum.

An optional but integral feature to have is the ability for a company’s IT teams to track every Savi 8200 Office products through Plantronics Manager Pro, which will be sold separately.
