Lenovo Strengthens Gaming Laptop Lineup with New and Updated Legion Laptops

April 28, 2020 0 By Reyjon Oregas

Lenovo, one of the leading laptop manufacturers recognized worldwide, has recently unveiled new additions to its formidable laptop lineups. These new laptops not only emit gamer vibes but they also come in sharp and classy enough for a professional setup.

The new additions to Lenovo’s gaming laptops are updated with Intel’s latest 10th generation processors and the latest Nvidia GTX and RTX GPUs. And with the recent official release of AMD’s Ryzen mobile processors, it’s just fitting for Lenovo to forge them into their newest gaming laptop offerings.

Moreover, the new Lenovo Legion laptops will feature TrueStrike keyboard, a precision crafted keyboard by Lenovo that delivers 100% anti-ghosting, sub millisecond response times, and soft-landing switches resulting to hair-trigger accuracy.

And to push the Legion laptops to their full potential, Lenovo equips them with the Legion Coldfront 2.0 that features Dual Burn, which pushes the CPU and GPU to their in-game limits so that the new Legion laptops would yield more FPS (frames per second) without thermal throttling.

Lenovo has also made improvements on the battery of its new Legion laptops. With its collaboration with Nvidia, Lenovo Legion laptops will be the first to feature Nvidia’s Advanced Optimus that significantly boosts its battery life.

Advanced Optimus dynamically switches between the use of the Integrated Graphic Processing Unit (found on the CPU) for more battery life, to the discrete NVIDIA GPU for higher frames per second. All this happens without a need to reboot the machine.

Lastly, the Lenovo Q-Control 3.0 that’s featured on the new Ideapad Gaming laptops will let users switch between 3 different settings for system voltage and fans – Performance, Quiet, and Balanced
