After a day of fierce Street Fighter esports action, Shuto of crazyraccoon beat out 15 other competitors to win the CAPCOM Pro Tour 2024 Super Premier.
Shuto walked away with USD 10,000 in prize money and a coveted spot in the global CAPCOM Cup 11.
Andrew Wincott and Larian Studios Talk Baldur’s Gate 3
Andrew Wincott, the voice actor behind Raphael in Baldur’s Gate 3 joined Senior Character Artist, Wayne Chu; Cinematic Artist, Wisnu Irawan; and Studio Head from Larian Studios, Tomoko Choo on stage for an engaging discussion about the game.
The panel discussion focused on the artistry behind the game’s character design and cinematic flair.
Cosplay Runway Competition Delights Fans
The Cosplay Runway Competition at gamescom asia 2024 showcased 16 participants with costumes from franchises like Street Fighter, Monster Hunter Wilds, and Baldur’s Gate 3.
It was judged by cosplayers Charess Mabla, Vera Chimera, and Angelus. In the end, four winners took home cash prizes ranging from SGD 200 to SGD 500 in value.
The winners were RamonsProps as The Batman Who Laughs (Injustice 2), Milkymoo as Bubble Head Nurse (Silent Hill ), Jadeybugboo as Briar (League of Legends), and Skye as Satyr (Granblue Fantasy)
Celebrity and Cosplayer Meet and Greets Highlight the Importance of Community at gamescom 2024
Final meet-and-greet sessions concluded with Andrew Wincott, voice actor behind Raphael in Baldur’s Gate 3, and cosplayers and content creators – Roxanne Kho, Zackt, and Charess.
These sessions underscore gamescom asia’s role in connecting fans with creators and industry professionals to uplift the gaming community across the region.
It was also announced that gamescom asia 2025 will be held from 30 October to 2 November 2025 in Singapore.
